Human CEBP alpha ELISA Kit

A high-sensitivity sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of C/EBPα (CCAAT/Enhancer Binding Protein Alpha) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format in which the target is captured on a pre-coated microplate, detected with a biotinylated antibody, and visualised using HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Key performance figures stated in the manufacturer's documentation include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reported recovery values are 89-105% (average 94%) for serum (n=5), 89-105% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 94-103% (average 98%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is given as 91-105%, 82-96%, 84-99% for serum (n=5); 85-105%, 82-100%, 80-97% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 86-98%, 86-100%, 80-99% for heparin plasma (n=5). The procedure uses a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation of 60 minutes, and HRP-Streptavidin incubation of 30 minutes, followed by 10-20 minutes of TMB colour development. Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, wash buffer (25X) and a plate sealer. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months.
