Human CEACAM-1/CD66a ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of human CEACAM-1, also known as CD66a. CEACAM-1 is a cell adhesion molecule involved in cell signaling and immune response modulation, with roles in cancer progression, inflammation, and immune surveillance, making it a valuable biomarker for research into these conditions. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions spans 86-98% to 95-101% for serum, 83-98% to 83-99% for EDTA plasma, and 81-99% to 82-100% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges from 90-101% (average 95%) for serum, 88-105% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-96% (average 93%) for heparin plasma. The protocol includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labeled detection antibody step, 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding, TMB substrate development, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months.
