Human CDP-diacylglycerol--glycerol-3-phosphate 3-phosphatidyltransferase, mitochondrial (PGS1) ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for quantitative measurement of human mitochondrial CDP-diacylglycerol--glycerol-3-phosphate 3-phosphatidyltransferase (PGS1), also known as phosphatidylglycerophosphate synthase 1 and PGP synthase 1. The assay detects natural and recombinant human PGS1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and is intended for research use only.

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.17ng/mL. The colorimetric ELISA is read at 450 nm. Intra-assay CV is 4.2% and inter-assay CV is 8.1%. Spiked recovery averages 102% in serum (range 96-108%) and 104% in plasma (range 98-110%). At 1:2 dilution, linearity ranges are 102-110% in serum, 112-122% in EDTA plasma and 110-119% in Heparin plasma, with additional ranges reported at 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.

PGS1 functions in the biosynthesis of the anionic phospholipids phosphatidylglycerol and cardiolipin, and is localised in the mitochondrion. The UniProt accession is Q32NB8.
