Human CDK-activating kinase assembly factor MAT1 (MNAT1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human CDK-activating kinase assembly factor MAT1 (MNAT1). The kit is intended for research use only and targets a nuclear protein that stabilises the cyclin H–CDK7 complex to form the functional CDK-activating kinase (CAK), a complex involved in cell cycle control and RNA polymerase II transcription. Dysregulation of MAT1 has been linked to cancer, supporting its use as a biomarker in disease research.

The assay is validated for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for both natural and recombinant human MAT1 (UniProt P51948). Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 34 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 6.8%. Linearity has been assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions, with recovery of 92% in serum (range 86–98%) and 94% in plasma (range 88–100%).
