Human CDH7/Cadherin 7 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantification of human CDH7 (Cadherin-7) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Cadherin-7 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecule involved in cell-cell interactions and tissue organization, and its dysregulation has been associated with cancer and developmental disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in research. The assay is a double-antibody Sandwich ELISA with colorimetric detection.

According to the manufacturer's product specification, the kit has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity falls between 82% and 111% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at the dilutions tested, and recovery averages between 94% and 96% in the same matrices. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The assay procedure uses a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), TMB substrate development with absorbance read at 450 nm.
