CDC25A is a dual-specificity phosphatase that activates cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) by removing inhibitory phosphates from CDK2/Cyclin E and CDK2/Cyclin A complexes, driving the G1/S transition and S-phase entry of the cell cycle. The enzyme is targeted for ubiquitin-mediated degradation following DNA damage, connecting its abundance to checkpoint activation, replication stress, and genomic stability.

This Assay Genie reagent enables quantitative measurement of CDC25A in human samples and supports research into cell cycle dysregulation and oncogenic pathways in breast, lung, and hepatocellular carcinomas, where CDC25A overexpression has been reported in published literature.

Each microplate includes pre-coated wells and reagents for 96 Assays.
