Human CD9 (CD9 antigen) ELISA Kit (HUFI07967)

CD9 is a 24-27 kDa tetraspanin membrane protein (TM4SF superfamily, also annotated TSPAN29, MRP-1, or MIC3) widely expressed on platelets, eosinophils, basophils, pre-B cells, and activated T cells. It organizes membrane microdomains that coordinate cell adhesion, migration, and intercellular signalling, and it serves as a canonical tetraspanin marker used to characterize extracellular vesicles (exosomes) released into circulation. Quantitative CD9 measurement in serum and plasma therefore supports biomarker discovery in oncology, reproductive medicine, and studies of viral entry where CD9 acts as a co-receptor.

The Assay Genie kit is configured as a Sandwich ELISA on a pre-coated 96-well microplate, using 100 uL of sample per well in duplicate, with all capture plates, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, substrate, and wash and stop buffer concentrates supplied.
