Human CD86/B7-2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human CD86 (B7-2) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CD86 (B7-2) is described as a critical co-stimulatory molecule involved in immune response regulation, with a key role in T cell activation and differentiation. Measuring CD86 (B7-2) levels can support research into autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, and transplant rejection.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a double antibody sandwich format. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validation data covers linearity and recovery across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n = 5). Reported linearity ranges were 85-101%, 90-100%, and 82-98% for serum; 87-105%, 88-99%, and 81-99% for EDTA plasma; and 91-98%, 84-99%, and 81-100% for heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively. Reported recovery ranges with averages were 87-105% (95% average) for serum, 88-105% (95% average) for EDTA plasma, and 87-104% (98% average) for heparin plasma. The kit is intended for immunology research applications.
