Human CD8 alpha/CD8A ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of CD8 alpha (CD8A) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout at 450 nm, following incubation steps with biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and an assay range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) spans 89–105%, 86–102% and 88–102% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with EDTA plasma at 82–96%, 84–101% and 84–96%, and heparin plasma at 80–99%, 82–94% and 80–100%. Recovery ranges are 87–98% (serum), 85–98% (EDTA plasma) and 92–105% (heparin plasma), with averages of 95%, 92% and 98% respectively.

CD8 alpha is a T-cell surface glycoprotein involved in cytotoxic T-cell regulation and activation, relevant to immune response research. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and technical manual. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months.
