Human CD74 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human CD74 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other biological fluids. The double-antibody sandwich format provides a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL across a working range of 0.625–40 ng/mL, with detection performed colorimetrically by reading absorbance at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

CD74, also known as the MHC class II-associated invariant chain or HLA class II histocompatibility antigen gamma chain (UniProt P04233), plays a central role in antigen presentation and immune response regulation. The kit supports immunology research, including investigations into autoimmune disease and cancer, where accurate quantification of CD74 can offer insight into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.

Validated performance includes sample recovery of approximately 86–105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with linearity of 80–105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C (with the lyophilised standard also stable for up to 12 months at –20°C), and supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate and wash buffer. The workflow follows a standardised protocol with primary incubation at 37°C, sequential detection and substrate steps, and a final stop reaction read at 450 nm.
