CD69 is a type II transmembrane C-type lectin and one of the earliest cell-surface activation markers on stimulated T lymphocytes, B cells, natural killer (NK) cells, monocytes, and platelets. Quantifying this marker on activated human leukocytes is widely used in immunology and immunomonitoring workflows, including T-cell activation kinetics, vaccine immunogenicity screening, NK cell effector studies, inflammatory cytokine signaling cascades, and transplant rejection investigations. This Assay Genie kit is supplied as a 96-determination pack containing a pre-coated microplate, matched capture and biotinylated detection antibodies, recombinant human CD69 protein standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, substrate solution, and the wash and assay buffers needed to generate a calibration curve. Standard protocols call for loading 100 µL of sample and standard per well, carrying out the binding and washing steps, developing the enzyme reaction, and reading the plate on a standard absorbance plate reader to interpolate CD69 concentrations. Reconstituted antibody and standard components should be aliquoted and stored refrigerated to preserve activity, protected from light where indicated, and the kit is intended for research use only in vitro.
