Human CD63 antigen (CD63) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA Kit designed for the precise measurement of Human CD63 antigen (CD63) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a sandwich-format assay with reactivity specific to human samples and is calibrated to recognise natural and recombinant human CD63 antigen.

According to the manufacturer's specification sheet, the kit delivers a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/ml and a sensitivity of 19.5pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.8% and an inter-assay CV of 11.0%. Linearity was assessed across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with reported ranges of 92-119% for serum, 83-120% for EDTA plasma, and 85-115% for heparin plasma. Recovery testing showed an average of 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma.

CD63 is a member of the tetraspanin (TM4SF) family of cell-surface glycoproteins and is associated with processes including cell adhesion, migration, and membrane fusion, as well as immune responses, cancer progression, and inflammatory conditions. It functions as a cell surface receptor for TIMP1 and is listed under the cancer research area.
