Human CD55/DAF ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of Human CD55/DAF, also known as Decay Accelerating Factor (DAF), a regulator of the complement system linked to immune response and inflammation. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format in which standards and samples are captured on a pre-coated microplate, detected with a biotinylated antibody, and visualised with HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay is reactive with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reported recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is 93–96% (average 94%), 86–97% (average 90%) and 87–104% (average 95%), respectively, and linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls within 83–105% for these matrices. Components are intended to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months (with some items also suitable for storage at –20°C), and the kit is supplied for research use only.
