Human CD51/Integrin alpha V ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the accurate detection of CD51 Integrin Alpha V levels in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich detection format with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL.

Linearity has been validated across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (87–105%, 87–103%, 89–105%), EDTA plasma (82–101%, 85–100%, 83–101%) and heparin plasma (83–99%, 80–94%, 92–100%). Recovery ranges are reported as 88–104% for serum, 95–102% for EDTA plasma and 86–101% for heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 94%, 100% and 94% respectively. The kit is intended for research in cell biology, cancer biology and immunology, where CD51 Integrin Alpha V is studied for its role in cell adhesion, migration and cell signalling, with reported relevance to cancer, inflammatory conditions and cardiovascular diseases.

The procedure involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Kits should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
