Human CD5 antigen-like (CD5L) ELISA Kit

The assay detects natural and recombinant human CD5 antigen-like, and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell culture supernates as well as other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 33 pg/mL. Precision data show an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity has been evaluated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma matrices at serial dilutions, and recovery has been assessed for serum and plasma samples.

CD5L is a secreted protein expressed primarily by macrophages in lymphoid and inflamed tissues. It is involved in the regulation of lipid synthesis and inflammatory responses, and has been implicated in autoimmune disease and cancer progression, making the kit a relevant tool for related research applications.
