Human CD48 (CD48 antigen) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the precise quantification of CD48 antigen, this Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) supports serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid sample types. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development carried out in the dark.

Linearity for serum (n=5) is 90–104%, 84–98% and 85–97% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) gives 90–100%, 84–100% and 80–95%; heparin plasma (n=5) gives 86–104%, 83–98% and 82–99%. Recovery spans 86–104% in serum (average 93%), 88–102% in EDTA plasma (average 95%) and 86–105% in heparin plasma (average 96%).

CD48 is a cell surface protein that regulates immune cell activation, proliferation and differentiation through cell-to-cell communication, making it a relevant biomarker for research into autoimmune disorders, infectious disease and cancer progression. The kit components are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months.
