Human CD41/Integrin alpha 2b ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA uses a double-antibody configuration and colorimetric detection to measure human CD41/Integrin alpha 2b. The target is a protein involved in platelet aggregation and blood clot formation, and its dysregulation has been linked to blood disorders and cardiovascular diseases, making it a useful biomarker for cell biology research.

The assay is validated for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The protocol uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Spike-and-recovery performance averaged 100% (range 98-103%) in serum, 95% (91-101%) in EDTA plasma, and 93% (89-103%) in heparin plasma. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions was 85-104% for serum, 82-101% for EDTA plasma, and 80-97% for heparin plasma.
