Human CD31/PECAM-1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of CD31 (PECAM-1), a transmembrane glycoprotein central to endothelial cell adhesion, migration, angiogenesis, leukocyte trafficking, and immune regulation, this Sandwich (Double Antibody) ELISA kit offers high sensitivity and specificity for human-derived samples. The colorimetric assay is read at 450 nm and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Research has linked elevated CD31/PECAM-1 levels to cardiovascular disorders, inflammatory conditions, and cancer.

The workflow includes equilibrating reagents and the pre-coated microplate, primary incubation of standards and samples at 37 °C, sequential binding with a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB-based color development in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Validated Bradford Reagent is included for total protein quantification and sample normalization. The kit ships with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, wash buffer, stop solution, plate sealers, and a technical manual; reagents are stored at 2–8 °C (with select components at –20 °C) and remain stable for up to 12 months.
