The CD300LG target, also referred to as CMRF35-like molecule 9 (CLM-9), is a type I transmembrane receptor of the CD300 immunoglobulin superfamily. It is constitutively expressed on vascular endothelial cells, where it acts as a ligand for TREM-1 on monocytes and neutrophils and contributes to leukocyte transendothelial migration during inflammatory responses. This kit from Assay Genie uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotin-conjugated detection antibody with streptavidin-HRP development, providing a quantitative readout for soluble or shed CD300LG in clinical serum-based and plasma-based specimens. Researchers studying endothelial activation, sepsis biomarkers, neutrophil-endothelial crosstalk, or chronic inflammatory conditions can apply the assay to patient cohorts and matched controls. Typical sample volume is 100 µL per well, with a standard curve generated from a serial dilution of recombinant human CD300LG. Recommended handling includes allowing all reagents to equilibrate to room temperature before use and storing unused strips in the resealable pouch with desiccant. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity reported with related CD300 family members such as CD300A, CD300C, or CD300LF.
