The Assay Genie human CD200 PharmaGenie ELISA is a quantitative immunoassay developed to measure soluble CD200 (also known as OX-2), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that acts as an inhibitory immune checkpoint through its receptor CD200R on myeloid-lineage cells and select lymphoid subsets. The assay is specific for human CD200 and shows no cross-reactivity with mouse or rat orthologues, supporting tumor-microenvironment profiling in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, multiple myeloma, and selected solid tumors, alongside research into neuroinflammation, transplant tolerance, and autoimmune disease where altered CD200 expression has been reported. Researchers can quantify the analyte in cell culture supernatant, plasma-derived samples, and serum-derived fractions using the microplate-based workflow. Reagents are supplied for in vitro research use only; the kit should be stored at 2-8 degrees C, protected from light, and the reconstituted standard and detection antibody should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
