Human CD200/OX2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich (double antibody) ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of human CD200 (OX-2 membrane glycoprotein) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is for research use only.

Wells are pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to CD200. Standards and samples are added and incubated at 37 °C, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-conjugated Streptavidin. TMB substrate is then added, and the resulting color change is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with absorbance directly proportional to analyte concentration. Reported sensitivity is 75 pg/mL and the working range is 125–8000 pg/mL. Validated linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 sample dilutions has been reported for serum (85–101%), EDTA plasma (82–100%) and heparin plasma (82–99%), with average spike-recoveries of 93% for serum and EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma (n=5). The kit also includes a validated Bradford Reagent for total protein quantification to support sample normalisation.

CD200 (also known as OX-2) is a human cell surface glycoprotein implicated in immune regulation and tolerance, of interest in research into autoimmune disease, cancer and inflammatory disorders. Reagents are shipped on ice packs and components should be stored at 2–8 °C as directed in the manual.
