Human CD126 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the detection of human CD126, also referred to as IL-6R or gp80. The assay uses a highly optimised monoclonal antibody pair together with a purified recombinant protein to deliver specific and sensitive analyte detection by colorimetric readout. It is intended as a research tool for immunology work in pharmaceutical and biotech settings.

The kit recognises both natural and recombinant human soluble IL-6R, with an assay range of 31.25 pg/ml - 1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5 pg/ml. Each well requires a 100 µl sample, with a total incubation of 1h40. Acceptable sample types are serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant. No cross-reactivity has been observed with other human soluble receptors, and there is no interference from soluble gp130 or IL-6. Standards are calibrated to NIBSC, and reagents have been validated according to ISO 9001:2000 quality systems.

Reagents supplied include pre-coated strip plates, biotinylated secondary antibody, standards, controls where applicable, buffers, streptavidin-HRP, TMB, stop reagents, and a detailed procedure.
