Human CCR4 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of human CCR4 levels, this double-antibody sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie supports research into chemokine signalling and inflammation. CCR4 (also known as CD194; UniProt P51679) is a C-C chemokine receptor that regulates immune cell migration, and aberrant expression has been linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders and allergic reactions. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. The colourimetric readout uses a TMB substrate and is measured at 450 nm after a stop reaction. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was demonstrated in serum (85–102%, 83–95%, 86–96%), EDTA plasma (88–94%, 84–101%, 82–98%) and heparin plasma (89–104%, 85–95%, 84–98%). Spike-and-recovery was 93–99% in serum (average 95%), 88–98% in EDTA plasma (average 91%) and 86–105% in heparin plasma (average 99%).

The workflow includes reagent and TMB equilibration to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
