Human CCND2/Cyclin D2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody configuration from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of human cyclin D2 (CCND2). The assay is intended for research applications in cell cycle biology, where cyclin D2 acts as a regulator of cell cycle progression and proliferation, and is used to investigate abnormal cyclin D2 expression associated with cancer and other proliferative disorders.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) is 86-102% at 1:2, 85-101% at 1:4, and 86-104% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) is 82-98%, 85-101%, and 82-100%; heparin plasma (n=5) is 85-98%, 82-99%, and 84-100% at the same three dilutions. Recovery averages 97% for serum (n=5, range 89-103%), 97% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 86-104%), and 98% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 94-103%). Uniprot reference: P30279. The procedure covers equilibration of reagents and TMB substrate, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction read at 450 nm. Sample preparation guidance covers serum (clot, 1000 × g, 20 minutes), plasma (anticoagulant tube, 1000 × g, 15 minutes at 2-8°C), tissue homogenate in PBS with protease inhibitors, cell culture supernatant (2500 rpm, 5 minutes), and cell lysate prepared with protease inhibitors.
