Human CCL28/MCP-3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human CCL28 (also known as Macrophage Chemotactic Protein-3, MCP-3) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The chemokine is implicated in immune responses and inflammatory processes, playing a role in recruiting immune cells to sites of infection or injury, making it a relevant target for studies of inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer.

The assay uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format with a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls within 83–105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n = 5 each), and spike-and-recovery averages are 96% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma. Unopened kits are stored at 2–8 °C for 12 months.

The workflow involves reagent equilibration, a 37 °C primary incubation for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Component quantities differ between the 48T and 96T formats and include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual.
