Human CCL23/MPIF-1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative colorimetric detection of human MPIF-1 (CCL23). The assay is compatible with cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum samples, and has a working range of 7 pg/ml to 6000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 7 pg/ml. A two-fold dilution is recommended for samples. Testing demonstrated no cross-reactivity with any of the cytokines evaluated, including interleukins, MCPs, MIPs, TNF-alpha, TNF-beta, VEGF, and others.

CCL23/MPIF-1 (also referred to as MIP-3) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. It is predominantly expressed in lung and liver tissue, with lower expression also detected in bone marrow and placenta. The protein displays chemotactic activity on resting T lymphocytes and monocytes, lower activity on neutrophils, and no activity on activated T lymphocytes, and acts as a strong suppressor of colony formation by a multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cell line. For storage, the entire kit may be kept at -20°C for up to one year from the date of shipment, with the option of storage at 4°C for shorter periods and at -80°C for extended storage; repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided.
