Human CCL16/HCC-4 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA kit employing a double-antibody method with colorimetric detection for the quantitative measurement of human CCL16/HCC-4. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, offering a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL.

Validated linearity spans 86–105% for serum, 83–100% for EDTA plasma, and 81–99% for heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, while recovery averages 94% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma, and 94% in heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. The protocol proceeds through reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm following stop solution addition.

CCL16, also known as HCC-4, is a chemokine that recruits immune cells to sites of infection or tissue damage and has been implicated in asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer, making it a relevant biomarker for immunological and disease research.
