Human CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein epsilon (CEBPE) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein epsilon (CEBPE), a bZIP DNA-binding transcription factor encoded at chromosome 14q11.2. CEBPE binds DNA as a homodimer or as a heterodimer with C/EBP delta and localizes to the nucleus; mutations in the gene are associated with Specific Granule Deficiency. The assay is reactive with human samples and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.23ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 4.3% and inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Dilutional linearity in serum spans 99-116% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions; EDTA plasma ranges 96-120% and heparin plasma 96-115% across the same dilutions. Spike-and-recovery averages 98% in serum (range 92-104%) and 100% in plasma (range 94-106%). The kit specifically detects natural and recombinant human CEBPE and is supplied for research use only.
