Human Cathepsin F ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA is configured for the quantitative measurement of human cathepsin F (CTSF; EC 3.4.22.41; UniProt Q9UBX1) in cell biology studies. Cathepsin F is described as a protease with roles in antigen presentation, protein degradation and tissue remodelling, whose dysregulation has been linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders and inflammatory conditions.

Validated sample matrices are serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit has a stated sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Reported linearity values are 85–105%, 87–103% and 92–103% for serum at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8; 82–98%, 85–101% and 83–101% for EDTA plasma at the same dilutions; and 82–95%, 82–100% and 81–86% for heparin plasma. Average recoveries are listed at 96% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma. Components are stored at 2–8°C with stated stability of 12 months.
