Human Cathepsin A (CTSA) ELISA Kit

Cathepsin A (CTSA) is a lysosomal serine carboxypeptidase that protects β-galactosidase and neuraminidase from intralysosomal degradation, and CTSA mutations cause the rare lysosomal storage disorder galactosialidosis. Altered CTSA expression has also been reported in cardiovascular remodeling, neurodegeneration, and several solid tumors, making it an active biomarker candidate in translational research. The Assay Genie CTSA ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of native CTSA protein in research samples, supporting studies of lysosomal function, inflammatory disease, and tumor microenvironment biology. The assay uses a human-specific capture antibody on a microplate, with all assay reagents, buffers, and TMB substrate supplied ready to use in individually labeled vials.
