Human Caspase-9 (CASP9) ELISA Kit

This Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of human Caspase-9 (CASP9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, targeting both natural and recombinant human Caspase-9 (UniProt P55211).

Caspase-9 is a cysteine-aspartic acid protease that plays a central role in the execution phase of apoptosis, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. The kit is grouped under the neurosciences research area and is supplied for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 5.2% and inter-assay CV at 9.8%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with recovery averaging 94% in serum (88-100%) and 96% in plasma (90-102%).
