Human Caspase-7 (CASP7) ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the accurate measurement of Caspase-7 in human samples, this sandwich ELISA is intended for apoptosis research. Caspase-7 (also known as CASP-7, MCH3, CMH-1, ICE-LAP3, ICE-like apoptotic protease 3 and apoptotic protease Mch-3) is a cysteine-aspartic acid protease that participates in the execution phase of programmed cell death, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders and neurodegenerative conditions.

The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Caspase-7 and is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and an inter-assay CV of 9.9%.

Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum (84–93% to 103–112%), EDTA plasma (113–123% to 87–99%) and heparin plasma (108–117% to 84–93%). Recovery ranges are 82–94% for serum (average 88%) and 84–96% for plasma (average 90%). The product is for research use only.
