Human Caspase 6 (CASP6) ELISA Kit

Apoptosis research and neurodegenerative disease studies frequently require quantitative measurement of effector caspase activity, and the Assay Genie Human Caspase 6 (CASP6) ELISA Kit addresses that workflow. Caspase 6 is a downstream cysteine protease that cleaves structural substrates such as lamin A and PARP during programmed cell death, and it has also been implicated in Alzheimer disease, Huntington disease, and other neurodegenerative processes where abnormal proteolytic activity drives neuronal loss.

Built on a 96-assay microplate format, the kit produces a colorimetric signal read on standard laboratory plate readers. It supports quantification of CASP6 in human research samples, with protocols covering tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other human-derived matrices used in apoptosis and neurobiology workflows.

Each kit provides reagents sufficient for 96 determinations, including pre-coated wells, detection antibody, standards, and substrate. The workflow follows standard ELISA procedure: add sample and standard to the plate, incubate, wash, add detection reagent, develop color, and read absorbance.
