Human Caspase-14 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of human caspase-14. The colorimetric assay supports research in developmental biology, including studies of programmed cell death (apoptosis), skin barrier function, and inflammation. Dysregulation of caspase-14 has been linked to skin disorders such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, making it a candidate therapeutic target and diagnostic marker.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reported linearity in serum (n=5) is 85-101% at 1:2, 82-98% at 1:4, and 80-97% at 1:8 dilution; EDTA plasma (n=5) gives 87-103%, 82-101%, and 83-95%; heparin plasma (n=5) gives 85-102%, 82-88%, and 80-92%. Mean recovery is 95% in serum, 93% in EDTA plasma, and 94% in heparin plasma.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
