Human Casein kinase II subunit alpha (CSNK2A1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Casein kinase II subunit alpha (CSNK2A1), also known as CK II alpha or CK2A1. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Casein kinase II subunit alpha (UniProt P68400).

Reported analytical performance includes a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.9% and inter-assay precision is 7.6%. Linearity has been validated in serum (N=5) at 96-106%, 89-98%, 100-110% and 89-101%, in EDTA plasma (N=5) at 84-94%, 109-119%, 107-117% and 91-102%, and in heparin plasma (N=5) at 86-96%, 107-117%, 100-109% and 89-99%. Average recovery is 94% (range 88-100) in serum and 96% (range 90-102) in plasma.

CSNK2A1 is the catalytic subunit of a constitutively active serine/threonine-protein kinase complex that phosphorylates a large number of substrates and regulates cellular processes including cell cycle progression, apoptosis and transcription. Dysregulation of CSNK2A1 has been implicated in the development of several diseases, supporting its value as a biomarker for cancer-related research. The kit is supplied for research use only.
