Human Cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables the quantitative measurement of human Cartilage Oligomeric Matrix Protein (COMP), a key cartilage matrix protein whose abnormal levels have been associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. The kit is intended for research applications in cartilage biology, biomarker evaluation, and the study of potential therapeutic targets.

Using a colorimetric detection method, the assay covers a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.06ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 5.3% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. The kit is reactive with human samples and is specific to natural and recombinant human COMP. Recovery is reported at 115% (range 109-120%) for serum and 117% (range 111-120%) for plasma.

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The kit is for research use only.
