CLCF1 is a secreted cytokine belonging to the IL-6 superfamily, with B-cell stimulating capability that binds to and activates the ILST/gp130 receptor. It plays a role in immune response regulation and inflammation modulation, and its dysregulation has been linked to certain autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions. Reported performance includes an intra-assay CV of 3.5% and inter-assay CV of 7.8%, with serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma linearity values of 80-126% across dilutions and average recovery of 103% (serum, range 97-109%) and 105% (plasma, range 99-111%).
