Carboxypeptidase B2 (CPB2), also known as thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFI), is a zinc-dependent plasma zymogen linking the coagulation and fibrinolysis cascades. The Assay Genie CPB2 immunoassay provides a quantitative colorimetric method for in vitro measurement of this carboxypeptidase in human cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum, supporting studies of thrombotic disorders, vascular inflammation, and cardiovascular biomarker research.
