Human Carboxypeptidase A3, Mast Cell (CPA3) ELISA Kit

Carboxypeptidase A3 (CPA3) is a zinc metalloprotease selectively packaged in mast cell secretory granules and co-released with histamine and tryptase during degranulation events. This Assay Genie kit enables quantification of circulating CPA3 to investigate allergic inflammation, asthma pathophysiology, systemic mastocytosis, and cardiovascular remodeling, where elevated CPA3 levels have been linked to abdominal aortic aneurysm expansion and adverse outcomes in heart failure cohorts. The assay is also applied in venom-induced anaphylaxis research and to characterize mast cell activity in chronic inflammatory disorders. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and frozen promptly to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and the microplate should be equilibrated to room temperature and stored protected from light to preserve capture antibody activity.
