Human cAMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 4B (PDE4B) ELISA Kit

The detection range is 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 3.6% and an inter-assay CV of 7.2%. Linearity has been characterised across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (82–120%), EDTA plasma (88–117%) and heparin plasma (82–116%). Average recovery is 91% in serum (range 85–97%) and 93% in plasma (range 87–99%).

PDE4B (UniProt Q07343; NCBI Gene ID 5142; molecular weight 57,709 Da) hydrolyses the second messenger cAMP, a key regulator of many physiological processes, and altered activity of the encoded protein has been associated with schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder. The protein is also known by the synonyms DPDE4 and PDE32.
