Human cAMP-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PRKACA) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human cAMP-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PRKACA), also referred to by the synonyms PKA C-alpha and PKACA (UniProt: P17612). Detection is colorimetric and the assay is for use with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human cAMP-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit alpha.

The kit reports a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.34ng/mL. Precision is given as an Intra CV of 4.1% and an Inter CV of 7.8%. Linearity has been characterised across dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum (100-110%, 106-116%, 81-91%, 83-93%), EDTA plasma (97-109%, 100-112%, 93-105%, 99-108%) and heparin plasma (101-111%, 94-104%, 114-124%, 80-92%), each assessed with N=5 samples. Recovery is reported as an average of 88% (range 82-94%) for serum and 90% (range 84-96%) for plasma.
