Human CAMK2A/CaMKII alpha protein CaM Kinase II alpha ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of CAMKII alpha (CAMK2A) in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody format. The assay is reactive with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is shipped on ice packs and the components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The assay follows a standard sandwich ELISA workflow: pre-coated plate incubation with standards and samples at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, stopped and read at 450 nm. Validated linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 92–103% / 87–100% / 88–103% for serum, 83–97% / 88–98% / 83–100% for EDTA plasma, and 87–99% / 82–98% / 81–100% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 85–105% (average 95%) for serum, 90–105% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma, and 89–101% (average 93%) for heparin plasma. A dual-function design includes a validated Bradford Reagent for total protein normalisation.
