Human Calumenin (CALU) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise quantitative measurement of Calumenin (CALU) in human samples. Calumenin is a calcium-binding protein that contributes to intracellular signaling, and altered expression of this protein has been associated with cancer and neurological disorders, making it a useful biomarker for research into these conditions.

Detection is performed using a colorimetric, double-antibody Sandwich ELISA format. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The workflow begins with reagent and plate preparation, followed by primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
