Human CALU PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0343)

The Human CALU PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is a quantitative immunoassay for measuring calumenin, an endoplasmic reticulum-resident calcium-binding chaperone involved in vitamin K-dependent gamma-carboxylation and unfolded protein response signalling. Calumenin has been investigated as a candidate biomarker in breast carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, vascular calcification, and glioblastoma invasion studies. The plate uses a human-specific capture antibody raised against the human calumenin sequence with negligible cross-reactivity to rodent orthologues, and researchers in oncology, cardiovascular biology, and ER stress research use this kit to quantify calumenin in human cell culture supernatant, plasma samples, and serum-derived specimens.

Each kit contains a pre-coated 96-assay strip plate, biotin-conjugated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, lyophilised reference standards, and assay diluent. The protocol uses a chromogenic readout measured on a standard microplate reader. Unopened components should be refrigerated; reconstituted standards and streptavidin-HRP should be aliquoted into single-use vials and frozen at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw degradation and preserve shelf life throughout long-running studies.
