Human Calretinin ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit provides colorimetric detection of calretinin in human samples and is reactive with human species. It is intended for research applications in cell biology, and accepts a broad range of sample types including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Calretinin is a calcium-binding protein involved in cell differentiation and signaling, and is a useful biomarker for studying conditions such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, and neurodegenerative disorders.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measurable range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, and should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity spans 82–105% across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions. Recovery averages 99% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma. The assay uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), with TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm.
