Human Calretinin (CALB2) ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie intended for the quantitative measurement of Human Calretinin (CALB2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Calretinin is a calcium-binding protein abundant in auditory neurons and is widely used as a marker for mesothelial cells and certain neurons, supporting research in neurobiology, cancer biology and cell signaling.

The assay delivers a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 31 pg/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.7% and an inter-assay CV of 7.9%. Specificity is confirmed against natural and recombinant human calretinin. Recovery is 101% (95–107%) for serum and 103% (97–109%) for plasma, with dilution linearity validated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. For research use only.
