Human Calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3',5'-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase 1C (PDE1C) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3',5'-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase 1C (PDE1C). The kit is intended for research use only and uses a colorimetric detection method to quantify PDE1C levels in human samples.

According to manufacturer specifications, the assay covers a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 5.1% and an inter-assay CV of 9.2%. Recovery data show an average of 86% (range 80–92%) for serum and 88% (range 82–94%) for plasma. Linearity has been validated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (92–101%, 87–99%, 92–100% and 111–119%), EDTA plasma (86–95%, 104–114%, 99–109% and 99–108%) and heparin plasma (100–109%, 89–98%, 95–105% and 100–110%), each tested with N=5.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human PDE1C (UniProt Q14123), a calmodulin-dependent cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase with dual specificity for the second messengers cAMP and cGMP.
