Human Calcineurin (CaN) ELISA Kit

Calcineurin is a calcium- and calmodulin-dependent serine/threonine phosphatase that governs T-cell receptor signal transduction by dephosphorylating NFAT transcription factors. The Assay Genie Human Calcineurin (CaN) ELISA Kit is built to quantify this phosphatase in human specimens, supporting investigations of immunosuppressive drug pharmacology (cyclosporine A and FK506 mechanisms), cardiac hypertrophy, neurodegeneration, and calcium-dependent signaling pathways.

The kit is configured for in vitro research use only and is intended for laboratories studying the calcineurin-NFAT axis in immune cells and other tissue types. Reconstituted components should be kept refrigerated between uses and shielded from light to preserve activity, while the sealed plate should remain in its foil pouch with desiccant until first opening.

Researchers most commonly prepare tissue homogenates and cell lysates as input material, following the recommended dilution scheme outlined in the product manual. The assay is read on a standard microplate reader, and each kit contains sufficient reagents for 96 individual determinations.
