Human Calbindin/CALB1 ELISA Kit

It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The assay delivers a sensitivity of 3.75 pg/mL across a working range of 6.25–400 pg/mL, with all reagents intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Calbindin is a calcium-binding protein involved in calcium homeostasis, neuroprotection, and neuronal function, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders, making it a useful research biomarker. Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5) is 86–92% / 94–97% / 85–100% for serum, 85–103% / 82–100% / 81–97% for EDTA plasma, and 85–95% / 83–101% / 80–91% for heparin plasma. Average recovery values are 93% (serum), 96% (EDTA plasma), and 99% (heparin plasma).
