Human CAGE1 (Cancer associated gene 1 protein) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human CAGE1 (Cancer Associated Gene 1) protein, supporting research into cancer biology and the search for new therapeutic targets. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Linearity has been characterised for serum (88-98%, 88-100%, 89-96%), EDTA plasma (85-99%, 85-100%, 81-96%) and heparin plasma (90-102%, 85-97%, 80-99%) across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8. Recovery ranges from 86% to 105% depending on matrix, with averages of 98% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma and 92% for heparin plasma. The workflow includes reagent and plate equilibration, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37 °C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step, 10–20 minutes of TMB colour development in the dark and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

Provided components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual. The kit is intended for storage at 2-8 °C, with a stated shelf life of 12 months under those conditions.
